Founded June 4, 1889, as the first Catholic College in Florida, Saint Leo University is located on 170 rolling acres on Lake Jovita - just north of Tampa, Florida. An independent Catholic teaching college of international consequence, Saint Leo is rooted in the founding philosophy of its Benedictine forefathers. From the North or South:

Take I-75 to exit #59. Head EAST on Highway 52 for about 4 miles. Saint Leo University will be on your left, across the street from the Abbey Golf Course.

From Orlando:

Take I-4 WEST to I-75. Exit to the NORTH, then follow the directions above. Average drive time from Orlando is approximately 2.5 hours.
